KINTO Hits 100% Hybrid-Electric Passenger Fleet Milestone And Celebrates Nationwide Expansion

Car rental innovator KINTO Australia has today announced that 100% of its passenger cars and SUVs now consists of fuel-efficient hybrid-electric vehicles, with Australians across the country able to travel flexibly and affordably with KINTO.

KINTO reimagines travel to allow everyone the freedom to move, with a wide range of modern Toyota vehicles for hire from as little as an hour or up to 364 days at a time. Users pay for the time they book and distance they travel, plus any extras. All bookings include fuel, insurance* and 24/7 Roadside Assist, and there are no location or credit card surcharges and insurance excess reduction is available.

With a seamless, self-service concept, KINTO lets members choose the right car for every occasion digitally via the KINTO app. From selecting the vehicle, submitting documentation, collecting the car, and driving away, the entire process is digital - allowing Australians to collect a car when it suits them from a convenient location, with some locations available 24/7.

General Manager of KINTO, Mark Ramsay said: "Research1 has shown that Australians are looking to travel in ways that are more environmentally conscious, and we're happy to be doing our part to help them do so, by providing hybrid-electric KINTO vehicles to facilitate travel with less tailpipe emissions."

"What's more, our pricing remains accessible. Where BEV fleets usually come at a higher price point, KINTO continues to offer competitive pricing that doesn't surge with demand. Our fleet consists of a wide range of entirely hybrid-electric passenger cars and SUVs, meaning there is an affordable option for all kinds of drivers."

"Our fleet of cars and SUVs is made up of a broad 9 model range of trusted Toyota vehicles." said Ramsay. "Whether you need a zippy hatchback like a Toyota Yaris that is easy to get around the city, an SUV like a Kluger for the family and friends, or a stylish urban car like a Toyota Corolla or Corolla Cross for a business trip, KINTO has a hybrid-electric vehicle to accommodate."

This achievement coincides with news of KINTO's national expansion, with KINTO's Toyota fleet now servicing all Australian states and territories in major capital cities and regional areas.

"We believe everyone deserves the freedom to move, and we're doing our best to expand our footprint so that more Australians have this option regardless of where they live. We've seen a growth in demand for KINTO services in both capital cities and regional areas, so we've increased our metro fleet by 145% and our regional fleet by 253% in the last 12 months, giving city dwellers a new choice and bringing new mobility options to some rural locations," said Ramsay.
